Many places sell pineapple whip made from powdered mixes with long ingredient lists. If you prefer whole, pronounceable ingredients, this recipe is perfect: just three items and a blender deliver a healthy frozen treat in minutes. It’s gluten-free and dairy-free, making it a great alternative to ice cream if you’re avoiding dairy.

To make this at home you’ll want a good, powerful blender for a smooth texture. We like using a high-performance blender for the best results.

Easy pineapple whip made with just three wholesome ingredients.

Author Kami – NoBiggie.net

Ingredients

  • 1
fresh pineapple, cut into chunks and frozen
    (core included)
  • 2
    tablespoons
    honey
  • 1
    cup
    almond milk

Instructions

  1. Peel, core if you like (the core is fine once frozen) and chop a fresh pineapple into chunks. Freeze the pieces until solid.
  2. Place frozen pineapple chunks, almond milk and honey in a blender. Add a splash more almond milk if needed to help your blender run. Blend until smooth and creamy.
  3. For a soft-serve swirl appearance, spoon the blended mixture into a small plastic bag, snip off one corner and squeeze the whip into a glass or bowl.
  4. Garnish with a pineapple wedge on the rim. As it softens in the glass, the whip makes a delicious pineapple whip float.

Notes

A strong blender will give you the best texture. When pineapple is frozen, the tough fibers in the core soften, so you don’t need to discard it — just blend the whole piece. Adjust honey to taste depending on how sweet your pineapple is.

Once your pineapple whip is ready, consider a festive stirrer to complete the presentation. A small paper pineapple topper makes a fun garnish and pairs perfectly with the tropical flavor.
