Hello nougat lovers! If you enjoy the combination of chocolate and nuts, this three-ingredient nougat dessert is for you. No eggs, no gelatin, and ready in minutes — a creamy, indulgent treat that’s simple to make.
Taste and Occasion
This nougat mousse is comforting and festive, perfect for Christmas, New Year’s Eve, or any time you want a quick, elegant dessert. It’s creamy, luscious, and richly flavored with chocolate and hazelnut notes. The recipe requires very little time and only three ingredients, making it ideal when you want a show-stopping dessert without fuss.

Ingredients
This easy nougat dessert uses just three ingredients: cream, cream cheese, and chocolate (nougat) cream. You also need a hand mixer and a small saucepan or microwave-safe bowl. You can use Nutella or any similar chocolate-hazelnut spread you prefer. The basic method is straightforward: warm some chocolate cream with a little cream, combine it with cream cheese, then gently fold in whipped cream. The only step that needs attention is warming the chocolate mixture just enough to loosen it without making it too hot.

How to make the Nougat Dessert
Follow these simple steps to assemble the nougat mousse:
1. Warm 150 grams of chocolate-nougat cream with 50 grams of cream in a small saucepan or briefly in the microwave. Heat only until the spread is soft and pourable — it should not be hot.
2. Combine the warmed mixture with 200 grams of cream cheese and beat with a hand mixer until smooth and uniform.
3. Whip the remaining 300–350 grams of cream (depending on the total cream amount you prefer) with clean beaters until stiff peaks form. Gently fold the nougat–cream cheese mixture into the whipped cream, taking care not to overmix so the mousse stays light and airy.
4. Spoon or pipe the mousse into four glasses (about 180–200 ml each). For decoration, warm a little extra nougat cream until fluid and drizzle thin stripes over the top. If desired, finish with crushed nut brittle or chopped toasted hazelnuts just before serving. Enjoy this chocolatey dream!

Top Tip
The mousse is gently sweet. If you prefer it sweeter, fold in some powdered sugar to the cream cheese and nougat mixture before adding the whipped cream. Taste and adjust to your preference.

Variations
This recipe is versatile and egg-free, so it stores well and even tastes great the next day. Try topping the mousse with chopped toasted hazelnuts, cocoa nibs, or a dusting of cocoa powder. If you want a lighter version, use a reduced-fat cream cheese and a lighter cream, though texture and richness will change slightly. Serve the mousse with fresh berries for a contrasting acidity.
