DINOSAUR at Animal Kingdom is a dark ride that sends you back in time to rescue a dinosaur before a meteor strike. Race against the clock on a wild adventure full of twists, turns, and lifelike dinosaurs.

DINOSAUR is an intense, immersive attraction that transports riders to the late Cretaceous period to retrieve the last Iguanodon. You board a Time Rover and navigate through a chaotic prehistoric landscape while a looming meteor threat creates constant urgency.
The attraction features some of the largest and most detailed audio-animatronic creatures Disney has produced, bringing the prehistoric environment to life with realistic movement and sound.
Throughout the roughly three-and-a-half-minute ride, your Time Rover will dodge falling debris, skitter past charging dinosaurs, and encounter dramatic scenes designed to make you feel like you’ve gone back millions of years.
Before boarding, guests move through the Dino Institute queue, which includes exhibits and a full Tyrannosaurus rex fossil on display that help set the story and build anticipation for the ride.

Location
DINOSAUR is located in Dinoland U.S.A. at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. You’ll find the entrance toward the back of Dinoland, near the themed exhibits and play areas that surround it.
Lighting Lane
The attraction offers a Lightning Lane option. Despite this, DINOSAUR often has one of the longest standby queues in Dinoland, with typical wait times ranging from 45 to 90 minutes depending on the season and crowd levels.

Accessibility
DINOSAUR is accessible to guests with mobility impairments. While parts of the standby queue include steps, an elevator is available for guests using wheelchairs. Guests in wheelchairs are asked to transfer into the Time Rover vehicle for the ride.
The pre-show presentation includes closed captions for guests who are hard of hearing.

Ride Warning
DINOSAUR is a dark, intense attraction that includes loud sound effects, sudden movements, and creatures that may appear to jump at your vehicle. The ride is designed to be thrilling and can be frightening to some guests.
Children meeting the minimum height requirement of 40 inches (102 cm) are permitted to ride, but some younger or more sensitive children may find it too scary. If you are unsure whether the experience is suitable for your child, consider previewing a video of the ride or reviewing ride-through footage to gauge reactions beforehand.
