I’m looking forward to relaxing over the holiday weekend with family — stretchy pants included — and I’ll be bringing an unbeatable snack spread. While the others watch football, I’ll be enjoying quiet time and a puzzle with my mom. Naturally, the snack lineup will be on point.

My family loves spinach artichoke dip, so I developed this straightforward version that’s extra creamy, cheesy and full of flavor. We serve it with pita chips and fresh vegetables, but it pairs well with any favorite dippers.

To boost flavor, I swap typical Parmesan for Roth Grand Cru® cheese. Grand Cru adds a nutty, mellow, slightly fruity depth that shines in dishes where the cheese is front and center, making this dip especially flavorful and silky.

Can you make the dip ahead of time?

Yes. There are two convenient options:

  1. Assemble the dip, cover, and refrigerate until you’re ready to bake. When ready, transfer to a casserole dish and bake as directed.
  2. Prepare and bake the dip, then allow it to cool completely. Cover and refrigerate. When reheating, bring the dip out 30–60 minutes before baking at 350°F for 18–20 minutes until warmed through and bubbly.
