I recently spent a few weeks visiting family and friends in France, with most of my time in Paris. It’s the city where I grew up and studied before moving to Sydney a year and a half ago. During this trip I revisited familiar streets, favorite cafés, and a few newer corners of the city. What struck me most was how Paris remains both timeless and constantly changing — the same elegant façades and cobblestone lanes, yet always alive with small discoveries.
The photos below capture moments from those walks: a quiet early-morning avenue, the warm glow of a bakery at dusk, reflections on the Seine, and the everyday scenes that make Paris feel like home. I hope these images give a sense of the city’s atmosphere — intimate, varied, and quietly beautiful.
