Warm weather makes me crave iced coffee with a tall crown of whipped cream and a generous drizzle of caramel. Making this frappuccino at home is easier, faster, and less expensive than a trip to a coffee shop, and it tastes just as good.

I blend ice, strong coffee, half-and-half, caramel sauce, and a touch of vanilla for a creamy, balanced drink. It’s not overly sweet—adjust the caramel to your taste, or use coconut whipped cream for a lighter option. Most importantly, enjoy it outdoors when you can.

Ingredients

 

 

  • 1 cup ice cubes
  • ½ cup to ¾ strong coffee depends how strong you want it
  • cup half and half
  • 3 Tablespoons to 5 salted caramel sauce OR regular caramel sauce + ½ teaspoon sea salt
  • ½ teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • whipped cream optional

Instructions

 

  • Place all ingredients (except whipped cream) in a blender.
  • Blend on the smoothie setting if available, or blend on high for 30–40 seconds until smooth.
  • Pour into a glass, top with whipped cream and an extra drizzle of caramel sauce.
  • Serve immediately and enjoy.
